200g dried chick peas
- In a medium sized saucepan, put the chick peas and cover with cold water. Place in the fridge for 12 hours.
- Rinse the water and add fresh, place on a medium-high heat and bring to the boil, cooking for 15 minutes.
- Turn down the heat and simmer for a further 60 munutes. Drain hot water away and allow the chick peas to cool.
- When cool, place in an air tight container and cover with fresh, cold water. Store in the fridge until required.
